John Blomgren, D.Ph. was born in Beloit, Kansas, and raised in Lawton, Oklahoma. He graduated from University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy in 1969. John married Charlene in 1967 and they have three adult sons and seven grandchildren.

John became owner of his first pharmacy in Parsons, Kansas in 1971. The group that he was partnered in was True Quality Pharmacies of McKinney, Texas. He served as pharmacy owner/manager until 1980 when he was promoted to regional manager. In 1990, he was again promoted to Pharmacy Operations Director of this chain of 65 pharmacies. In this position he participated in the development of pharmacy operations manual and OTC / advertising manual. He had three district managers under him.

Mr. Blomgren's 38 years of pharmacy experience reinforced with five years of on-line pharmacy adjudication management experience has afforded him the understanding of many areas of retail pharmacy. He gets his greatest challenge in life growing ideas and companies.

John now specializes his pharmacy practice in the following areas of Pharmacist Care Outcomes. He offers seminars to families of patients with asthma and other respiratory diseases. He offered his expertise working with hospice organizations' interdisciplinary teams reviewing patients' charts. He was certified in I.V. admixture preparation and therapy. He is also certified as a community-based immunization pharmacist. He also has been trained in bio-identical natural hormone replacement at PCCA in January of 2005. He does consultations with women in the pharmacy regarding BHR and has a working relationship with physicians in the area recommending therapy. John has seven years of experience in pharmaceutical compounding preparing veterinarian, BHR, pediatric and preparations for autistic children.
